Be Heard

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.” ~ Margaret Mead

During Stroke Awareness Month this past May we shared a story each day of a child who had been impacted by stroke on the My Stroke Story page. This is just a very small sample of the thousands of children who suffer strokes worldwide. Most likely as you read these stories, you will see similarities with your child’s story. Please feel free to add a comment to any of these inspiring stories and connect with the families who shared them.

We would like to add more stories in the future. If you have a pediatric stroke story to share, please send us the basic information at info@iapediatricstroke.org and we will contact you in the near future.

For World Stroke Day, do you realize the impact that can be made if each person visiting the My Stroke Story page would read these stories, and share them on their social media or email? Please use #MyStrokeStory when sharing so we can keep track of how much of an impact this is making! Collectively we can make sure the message that strokes can happen at ANY age is HEARD around the world!

Thank you for helping raise “your voice” for Pediatric Stroke Awareness!
