Education and awareness are key factors in increasing hope and research for children who suffer strokes. The International Alliance for Pediatric Stroke recently partnered with the American Heart/American Stroke Association to create two fact sheets, one for childhood stroke and one for perinatal stroke.
We have made it easy for you to educate your friends, family, co-workers, teachers, school nurses, coaches, fireman, police, paramedics, healthcare providers, day care providers, and anyone else that should know what a stroke looks like in babies, children and teens. Simply share these sheets via email, post on social media, or print and distribute them in your community. Together we can grow awareness worldwide!
