Be Visible

Our aim is to be VISIBLE and to put pediatric stroke on the map! This is a chance to share with the world that a stroke can happen to babies, children, teens, and even before birth through real life stories.

Sharing your personal story of how stroke impacted your child or you as a child, can indeed be difficult for some. However, we encourage sharing, because it is through being visible that we can build hope and unite communities across the globe for change! If you (as a child had a stroke) or your child has been impacted by pediatric stroke, we ask you to please fill out the short registration form below and add your own marker to our map. Include the name of the person who has had a pediatric stroke, age at time of stroke, your location, and a brief story (up to 500 words) and a photo if you would like (2oo px x 2oo px max size). All stories will be visible on our interactive map intended for sharing, so by adding your marker below you agree to our privacy policy.

Let’s honor these children and turn the world map purple in awareness for World Stroke Day!

Please Note: To enter your story using a smart phone, it may be necessary to turn your phone horizontally. If that does not work, you may submit your story to and we will post it for you. Please include your location so we can accurately post the marker.
